This is an inexpensive silencer from a new manufacturer. Made in Texas, Made in USA! It has a thread pitch of 1/2 X 28, and is caliber rated for: 22 caliber and 5.7 X 28 MM model firearms (rimfire cartridges only). It's modular design described below is easy to implement. The disassembly-assembly of the modules is easy and straight forward. The APR&S Rimfire silencer is precision CNC machined out of a mix of extruded 6063 aluminum and hardened 17-4 stainless steel, which makes it ready to handle a lifetime of shooting with the hottest .22 rimfire ammo on the market.
Our straight baffle structure of the “Rimfire” silencer disperses the gases so efficiently that a gunshot from a .22 is quieter than a nail gun.
Now let’s talk cleaning! Shoot all day, and when it's time to clean your suppressor, simply unscrew your 5 components, (using the rubber strap provided) put the power brush in your cordless drill, use the brush to remove the buildup in the components, reassemble and your ready for the next trip to the field or range. Remember that you do not have to over tighten any of the components or the assembly to the firearm!!! A snug fit will do!
The modularity of this design makes it great in the fact that if you buy a brick of ammo, get it home, and realize that your setup doesn’t like that particular ammo, you can configure the silencer in 4 different configurations to change the harmonics of the barrel and hopefully get your setup and ammo to match up better.
1. One blast adapter on each end.
2. Both blast adapters on the barrel end.
3. Both blast adapters on the exit end.
4. Or you can completely remove one blast adapter. (Please note by removing this component, this will lessen Decibel reduction due to lesser volume for the gases to expand.)
