Oregon Republican Senators are saving Parental Protections, Minors, and Gun rights by walking off the Senate Floor!
So, what's the deal with the Oregon Republican Senators holding a walkout until the last day of legislation? What are they doing since they are not on the Senate floor for voting? Also, what's going on with Senate Bill (S.B.) 348 (measure 114 repackaged)? Theres accumulating questions that we will answer for those who would like to be in the know!
The Oregon Republican Senators have staged a walk out for weeks now. The left says its "typical Republican behavior, or they are children", but thats the ignorant speaking. It's for a good cause, and the cause tackles many bills that have alarming concerns for the everyday citizen! If you listen to the Local and State News they are not covering these topics in depth, only labeling it as Republicans not wanting to deal with Democrats. Which is far from the truth! Keep in mind these bills are to be voted in by the Oregon Senate, signed into law by the Oregon State Governor (Tina Kotek (Dem.)) and Attorney General out of Marion County (another hard left Dem in a hard left county), it will not be voted on by the public! Futher, if they did get these bills voted in and signed into law, the only place that the people of Oregon can appeal it is through Marion County Courthouse (another left wing Judicial house of Oregon) AKA theres no chance of getting it appealed.
The 3 Issues at Hand:
- SB348 (gun-control): It is measure 114 repackaged into a more stringent bill. Which increases the purchase age of long gun (shotgun or rifle) from 18 years of age to 21 years old, 10 round magazine limits, increased permit to purchase fees with yearly renewals, closing the 3 day rule transfer law, public data availability of firearm purchasers, bans all parts kits serialized or not, among many other unconsitutional barriers to the second amendment. - House Bill 2002 (Modifies provisions relating to reproductive health rights): However the name is far from the actual bill. Yes, there are some new multi gender protections, however it was written in away that it removes parental protection of minors.It allows the state of Oregon control over children/minors or as they phrase it (indviduals decisions in reproductive rights, and the hot top (gender re-assignment services). If the parent gets involved, the child can be removed from the family and placed into state care, and the parent can be served a $6000+ fine and 1 year of jail time - if they get involved or even step in a doctors office when your child wants to obtain gender reassignment surgery. This 46 page bill is far from simple, and has an agenda!
"A minor of any age may give consent, without the consent of a parent or guardian of the minor, to receive reproductive
health care information and services".
"Declares public policy regarding interstate actions arising out of reproductive health care and gender-affirming treatment. Prohibits public body from participating in interstate investigation or proceeding involving reproductive health care and gender-affirming treatment." - Lastly an old Oregon Law from 1979 that states a Bill's written summary, must be written in a way that an 8th grader could understand it and read it. Most of these bills are written in context that someone with a legal law degree would understand, and that common people wouldn't be able to comprehend the language or direction of the bill.
Conclusion:
Oregon Democrats stop with the gun control, if gun control worked, we would see south side Chicago crime rates at the lowest numbers of all time, however, its an extreme left ran city with the highest statistics in murder & gun violence rates. As for HB2002 Leave the children and their parents alone! You must be 18 to vote, 21 to buy alcohol, why can't you leave the children out of this until they are the age of at least 18? Why are they removing parental protections? It really makes you wonder who is getting paid to sponsor these horrific bills! The State should not know whats best for a child in regards to its gender.
Don't forgot all the Republican Senators who have walked off the Senate floor are in there offices working for the people, they're just protesting these bills that Oregon Senate Democrats will not budge on. It makes you wonder why the Oregon Democratic Senators are so stern on more gun control, and pushing Minors to making life changing decisions. Its as if they really want to open pandora's box. Next they will want to vote in communism and to legally make pedophillia okay (which is not okay by any standard).
